It took a little rain, a little sunshine, and a lot of tender care, but we’re finally ready.
Sparrow’s Nest of the Hudson Valley is excited to share with the community the expansion of their mission from delivering within a 20 mile radius to now, a 35 mile radius of the kitchen located in Wappingers Falls, New York. This change will take place on April 3, 2018. The new expansion will now bring meals to areas northwest towards Kingston, southwest towards Middletown and service the entire county of Putnam.
Six months ago, Sparrow’s Nest of the Hudson Valley grew from feeding the families of sick parents and caregivers to feeding the families of children who are battling cancer.
In the fall of 2017, the charity also moved into their larger, commercial facility in the Summerlin Plaza in Dutchess County where they’re currently feeding between 200 – 225 people each week.
